LIVE PAINTING COLLABORATION
In end of 2022 Ms Susan Rein and I performed live in Budapest at A38 Ship. It was a beautiful experience, you can watch the full performance above and a little talk after that (in hungarian).
Atreyu’s Horse
The Atreyu’s Horse was born in 2017. I was asked for building a softer, not beat centric show. In the rehearsal state I realised i’m really comfortable with beatless textures and layers. After a while there was a moment where I heard cello where wasn’t so I started to search for a partner in crime. I found her. With Barta Gyöngyi, we worked together between 2017 and 2019. We played many shows together had a lot of fun with experiments around composing techniques and sounds.
For me personally it was a huge learning curve into piano in the beginning and modular synthesizers later. All these experiences helped me a lot to have a solid ground for the later compositions for iamyank live ensemble.
Atreyu’s Horse is still an evolving, breathing thing what doesn’t want to deal with form or proper definition.
Daily piano pieces
For a year or so I was composing, improvising 1 minute long piano pieces for the sake of practice. I enjoyed it a lot. All of them available here.
Modular compositions
In 2017 I started to collect inspiring modules and put them into my system. I found it shortly: If I created something interesting, I have to record it, because it will disappear after shutting down. So I started a youtube channel and upload them in video format
Releases
After a while lovely people started to ask for recordings so I made a couple. Most of them was limited and sold only at live shows, but you can find a couple of recordings available online here.
